ABOUT INSTITUTE
Government Industrial Training Institute Patharpratima Running Under PTP is NCVT affiliated ITI conducting Industrial Training in the areas of Electrician, Surveyor, Welder, Fitter, and Plumber. It was established in the year 2016 with a mission to provide technical education mainly to the unemployed youth. The PPGITI is situated at Dakshin Shibpur, Ramganga Road, Patharpratima, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Pin – 743349, India.
The campus has an extensive landscape of about 2.77 acres with lush green environment and is fully equipped with all the infrastructural facilities free from pollution with greenery all over in the campus.
Government of West Bengal is Committed towards large scale Skill development for its youth population to improve the scope of gainful employment and entrepreneurial opportunities under the WBSDM (West Bengal Skill Development Mission) chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal.
To ensure that the above commitment is met successfully the Department of Technical Education, Training & Skill Development; Government of West Bengal has launched the “Utkarsh Bangla”, a flagship scheme on 16th February 2016 under the aegis of the PBSSD (Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development) for placement linked short-term skill trainings across the State of West Bengal.
Industrial Training Institutes and Industrial Training Centres are post-secondary schools in India constituted under Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Union Government to provide training in various trades.
